Here are the event details for the March 15th CLOUDBURST get-together in Atlanta (Duluth) Georgia:
We have made dinner reservations for the group at the Myung Ga Won restaurant at: 1960 Day Drive, Ste 100, Duluth, GA 30096, for 7:00 PM, on Saturday, March 15, 2014.
They have lots of space there and they are open 24 hours. The restaurant is known for its Korean BBQ.
We have also set up a group reservation for Cloud USA at the Holiday Inn Express in Duluth. The hotel is located at: 3670 Shackleford Rd, Duluth GA, 30096.
To make reservations, call 1-888-465-4329 and give them the organization name (Cloud USA) and our group code (EG2). Your room(s) must be reserved and PAID for in ADVANCE by February 22.

Rates: 1 king bed = $79.90 per night. 2 double beds = $84.15 per night. This is a small price break, which is good, but it also ensures that they will hold these rooms for the group until February 23rd.
However, we’ve only held 12 rooms (6 with 2 double beds and 6 with king-sized beds) initially, because we didn’t really know how many of you would actually want to stay together in the same hotel.
Please do let me (Terri) or Alicia (@lee24_ans on Twitter) know if you make a reservation at the hotel, so that we can keep track of how many rooms are left and can add more if necessary.

I’m not an official 9th cloud member. But I want to be and I want to attend this cloudburst. How can I be down?

Hi, Valicia. 🙂 Nice to meet you! Rain’s official Cloud Fan Community (in Korea) has already closed their membership drive for 9th Cloud — the deadline was January 26. However, they have said that they are going to have another one this month for the folks who missed the first one, so keep your eye on our blog and we’ll let you know when that happens. In the meantime, you might want to go ahead and sign up at The Cloud as a registered user of the site (if you haven’t already) because that will be a requirement. Concerning attending our Cloud USA cloudburst that’s coming up next weekend, the only requirement is that you love Rain as a fan. That’s it! I hope you can join us.

Okay I guess I have to officially say that unless I win the lottery in the next 2 weeks I will not be able to attend the Cloud Burst (weep) It was just too expensive with flight and board and and and. I am very sad that I can’t go but I hope you guys have an amazing time. Can’t wait to see the pic’s and read the stories afterwards.

curious as to how i can become part of the 9th cloud is there a waiting list or do i need to pay a membership…

Hi there. Welcome.
The Cloud’s official membership drive for their 9th Cloud ended on January 26. However, there were still a lot of fans who wanted to sign up that didn’t get to. So, there has been talk about a 2nd drive happening at some point. However, I can’t say for sure that that is going to happen. The best best is to keep an eye out on The Cloud’s English Talk board at http://www.rain-cloud.co.kr/board/list.asp?bcmSeq=6&mstSeq=14&mstpSeq=17 and see if the idea pops up again at some point.
The membership fee for the 9th Cloud was $32.00. If another drive doesn’t happen, the only choice is to wait for the next registration period, which usually happens about once a year.
