Rain-ing Supreme at MCM’s Store Opening

Amazing news, the world-famous Singapore Men’s Fashion Week is upon us and we’ve got a special VIP guest for you!

Asia’s biggest Pop Icon, Jung Ji-Hoon, better known for his stage name “Rain” will be attending MCM’s Store Opening in The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands! As it’ll be our first Flagship store in South Asia, we’re even more proud to share these incredible news with you! Guess what? Of course Rain is an avid fan of our fave brand MCM, too, wearing is iconic monogrammed backpack and clothes everywhere he goes. Means: We’re sharing this passion (YES, we, the Janes) got something in common with HIM!). But there’s even more: This year’s Singapore Men’s Fashion Week, we’ve got some very special present for you: An exclusive contest to receive a one-of-a-kind collector’s item backpack signed by the-one-and-only Rain!

But let’s first get to know Rain in case you weren’t in-the-know:

“Rain”-ing Supreme:

Jung Ji-Hoon was born in 1982. The world knows him as “Rain”, the mega popular South Korean singer, actor, songwriter and dancer. En plus, he’s a model as well, a producer and designer. All in all: A multi talented megastar pop icon! Rain’s musical career includes seven albums, 19 singles and numerous concert tours around the globe. His acting career began in 2003, when he won the KBS Best New Actor Award for his role in the drama “Sang Doo!Lwt’s Go To School”. After starring in “A Love To Kill” he acted in his first Korean film, “I’m a cyborg, but that’s ok”, which won the Alfred Bauer Prize at the Berlin International Film Festival. His latest movie was released in 2012: “R2B: Return to Base”.

Let’s sum it up! Having been named Times “100 Most Influential People Who Shape Our World” and People’s list of “Most Beautiful People in The World”, Rain is best known for his show-stopping concerts featuring acoustics, R&B, hip-hop, and high octane dances. He has also starred in several Hollywood movies such as “Speed Racer” and “Ninja Assassin”, the latter leading him to become the first Korean to win an MTV award. oh my, this guy!
