Many actors and singers help serve their fellow troops in various areas of entertainment and public relations, it seems. So why, after proving himself as tough and as dedicated as anyone else and not taking the Easy Road, is Rain being given flack by some folks for doing the same thing? Rain has paid his dues and proven himself as a soldier. If I was him if I could be closer to my family and serve my remaining time easier I would do it in a heart beat. I have so much respect for him.

Good for JiHoon, also a lot of men look up to JiHoon young and older. He has great ethics he’s always been someone to admire so why wouldn’t they place him where he can do the most good. I mean doctors and nurses serve in army hospitals right? So I don’t see why anyone would have a problem with him doing pr work. :S

I’m just happy that Rain is gonna be close to his home. Now his father and sister probably can visit him often. Regarding his new duties, I think he can do more this way than being a regular soldier. Rain already made clear that he can be an amazing soldier, he paid his dues and pass the training with honors. Now is time to give ideas, to inspire and be creative. I’m sure he is gonna be awesome in this new role. Rain don’t know how to be less than perfect in everything he do. 😀

I think this is what I’m the most happy about, that he will get to spend more time with his family, because he will be stationed in Seoul.

Well, I guess the bottom line is that for the entertainers in the military, their PHYSICAL person IS their money maker. If that gets “effed” up doing maneuvers then there will be No way to make money (in entertainment) when they are released. I think this is why many of them opt for easier positions within the military. Hey, towards the end of hubbie’s military tour he was a part of the master at arms part and he got to drive around military VIPs/higher ups most of the time and got to stay where they stayed. His buddies talked plenty “trash” to him (in good fun though….they remain friends). Like how the hell did you get this “cushy” job man….huh??!! Well, one of his superiors came from the same home state……the rest is history (Nothing illegal or unsavory). So, if you can get an easier time of it, I don’t know…..but I’d probably do it if given the chance too. But AFTER paying your dues.
