Bi Amazed…! WE certainly were. Enjoy!

Please enjoy this, our Man blowing “Handshake” out of his oh-so-talented pipes LIVE on SBS back during debut year (2002). As always, the sound is amazing and the staging is oh-so-cool.

Remember? JiHoon, the Crew, and their strategically placed TAILS?
We’ve seen the broadcast footage, sure, but not the fan cam. The crowd was screaming as if they were being killed. The fans around the fan-cammer were in flat-out convulsions. Ohh, there’s KyuSang, YongDeock, SungTak, Gori, Hongshi… and is that NamYong?? *scream* Rain was seducing everyone who could see him. Look at that sly grin! Look at his reaction when he hears his name—sheer pleasure. Heh. If you don’t damn near pass out watching this, you have a strong constitution, my friends, because this is gold.
WOW. We love raintic.

When Rain suffers, he suffers so well, doesn’t he? Woahhhh… Oh, the VOICE and the VISUALS… and he so loves thrilling Japanese fans with their own language.
Do spazz over this unusual and utterly enjoyable “In My Bed” performance from 2006, held at the Tokyo International Forum (followed up by “With You”). He’s all done up Rain’s Coming World Tour style, and so this might have been just before (or when) those concerts got rolling.
THIS IS EXCELLENT STUFF.

Aaaaand a BONUS: Let’s hit the beginning of the whole performance too. Because like I said, this is excellent stuff from which YouTube dreams are made. Have mercy. I have been THRUST into catatonia because the cameraman was on point. All the time. *happy bunny*

A long ways back, we did a Blast on Rain’s world tour stop in Daegu (2007). But you can never have enough Daegu, as far as we’re concerned.
Do enjoy this, which is quite possibly the HOTTEST “(I can’t believe) I like/love you again” performance to date, compliments of Busybee1982. Thanks, dear. (Good thing those pants were somewhat loose, JiHoon… take it from ajumma. Mama knows. *ridiculous grin*)

Rain soars like an eagle and glides like a white crane in this amazingly creative interlude during Rain’s World: Taiwan in March 2007. How interpretive! And those arms… the man is something, indeed.
Two months after Debut, June 2002! Just LISTEN TO THE STRENGTH IN HIS VOICE during this First Live “Bad Guy”! Seriously. O.O And during “Handshake.” Ahhh. (courtesy of maruborarain2)
Somebody needed a chiropractor after that dance break to 11 Days! How did Rain not throw his back out?? TV broadcast, Bi Rain -11 Days+ Dance+ Rainism (korea)2008 Golden Awards. (courtesy of SheDevilbg @YT)
ZEPP Osaka, Hip Song, June 2010. You name it, it happened: the music track got stuck and re-started three times, Rain hit the ground during the opening choreography, the dancers flailed around and changed stuff up and had great fun at his expense, his sunglasses flew off mid-move, no one could stop laughing amid all the missteps, et cetera, so on and so forth. And yet this is one of the best Hip Song performances ever. Absolute epic fun! You can’t beat it.
Though you have to wonder… did the dancers plan the whole thing behind Rain’s back, including the music snafu? They seemed pretty well prepared during all the mayhem, didn’t they? Hmm! (courtesy of raintic @YT)
Rain’s final Back To The Basic staging of hits Love Song and Hip Song, on MBC’s Music Core, May 29, 2010. Yes, alas, it was goodbye to the music comeback trail and on to bigger and better things… but not until we got to hear Rain’s heart beat with the sexiest new dance interlude to hit the air all year. Just watch him flow. Oh.
SLOWLY. Rain in his native tongue is music to our ears, but man… Japanese never sounded so good. Read the translation HERE. And then turn the volume up a little, take a sip of wine, and close your eyes. If you dare.
This pretty much convinced us that Rain could accomplish just about anything, with style. For years we’d connected yodeling with country singers at the Grand Ole Opry and little blonde girls named Heidi. Not with a Korean guy. So this is simply cool. If we have to explain why Rain amazed us in this scene, well then there’s a problem, ladies. (We sort of forgot for a moment that Im Su-Jeong was levitating with her head turned backwards. Heheh. Courtesy of Nednapah03.)
