[#9] From Stephe’s desk: My fantasy Rain playlist for the U.S. continued.
You didn’t think I was finished, did you?
Nope, not done yet. It’s just that R2B: Return to Base being in Atlanta has had me in G-LOC.
When I’m rolling in my Excalibur Roadster Hyundai and listening to my very favorite songs, these are the sounds from my playlist—whether he were to do an occasional cover or match the vibe—that I think would have Rain lighting up our airwaves like a Christmas tree. (JiHoon, are you listening?)
What’s on your fantasy Rain playlist, dear fans? Why?

#42. Jeff Cascaro – I’m Talking To You Baby. Courtesy of fabaut99 @YT) Get your Jazz-on/croon-on, 비. Jazz musician Jeff Cascaro, of Germany, is the ticket. “Please, be mine. Please, be fine.”
#43. Jeff Cascaro – Waiting. (Courtesy of DirtySnares @YT) As if the vocals aren’t enough, these lyrics are pretty doggone amazing.
#44. Brothers Johnson – Strawberry Letter 23. (Courtesy of foutecd @YT)
#45. Earth Wind & Fire – Be Ever Wonderful. (Courtesy of luvinhappinezz @YT) Oh, my. A Rain version would be l-o-v-e-l-y. Oh, joy.
#46. Al Green – How Can You Mend A Broken Heart. (Courtesy of everth77 @YT) Put your own spin on this, JiHoon, and watch us all literally light up. You can borrow that good ol’ go to church Sunday morning organ music from “Nan” and make it s-w-e-e-t. “How can you stop the rain from falling…” Heheh. You can’t.
#47. Anthony Hamilton – Love Is So Complicated. (Courtesy of ttlove92 @YT) Ain’t it, though?
The proof, as they say, is in the pudding: “Why Of All Things/왜 하필 (Wae Hapil)”, from Rain’s Vol. 2 album How To Avoid The Sun (2003). (courtesy of goldengal1989)
